MICHAEL MEDINA

VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE & OPERATIONS

Michael Medina, Vice President of Finance and Operations, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial health of the company, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and managing the accounting and reporting functions. He leads strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, providing critical insights and analysis to support the company's decision-making processes.

In addition to his financial responsibilities, Michael oversees key operational functions, including the management of the company’s facilities, IT infrastructure, and project control. He ensures that these areas operate seamlessly and align with the organization’s strategic goals, implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support overall business objectives.

Prior to his current role, Michael served as RPI Group’s Director of the Cyber Solutions business unit, where he managed contractual obligations and was accountable for the financial performance and growth of the unit. He also applied his program management skills to oversee daily cyber team activities, focusing on personnel management and quality assurance measures. Additionally, Michael has significant experience managing other operational areas, such as information technology, cyber services, and facilities, further demonstrating his versatility and leadership.

Michael’s 23 years of experience in technology services has provided him with a multi-layered portfolio, which includes liaising with government contractors, managing non-disclosure and teaming agreements, and overseeing subcontracts. He has a proven track record of identifying pricing inefficiencies, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and advising the company’s owners and C-suite on long-term financial planning and strategy. Known for his strong technical abilities and customer-first approach, Michael has built trusted relationships with government clients, ensuring their requirements are met on time and within budget.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys watching his daughters shine in their sports and drama activities. When he’s not cheering them on, you can often find him staying active at the gym. From time to time, Michael is known to lose a few golf balls on the course. He is also a Christian and values his faith as a guiding principle in his life.

Michael graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2000.
